Ok so you watch Ben 10, Powerpuff Girls and Family Guy. But for the 80’s kids, the most awesome cartoons were from the 1980’s and to be honest, we have to agree on this.

So here are 5 cartoons that were so popular in the 80’s that every single human that lived through that era would go crazy whenever they came on TV.

1. M.A.S.K

This cartoon was a hybrid of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and The Transformers. It was so well known that their vehicles went into production for toy merchandising.

2. Danger Mouse

James Bond the secret agent? Meh. Danger Mouse as secret agent? HECK YES! The character was supposed to be a parody of a British TV character called ‘Danger Man’. The creators then turned Danger Mouse into a secret agent and gave him a techy car and a sidekick. He had then became THE James Bond of 80’s kids.

3. Dungeons & Dragons

Back then, carnivals and fun fairs were the IN things for kids. This cartoon depicts 6 friends who took a ride into the caves and got teleported into the Dungeons And Dragons world. Each of them then got a super power. My favourite was the invisible cloak, in case anyone asks. 🙂

4. Animaniacs

This is the most fun cartoon ever! (I never missed an episode by the way).
Can you believe that Steven Spielberg actually produced this cartoon together with Warner Bros? That’s why it’s so awesome. OK anyway, Animaniacs as sort of like a cartoon variety show, whereby it features short skits by a pool of very big group of characters/casts. Every episode you will get 3 random skits, which adds to the mysterious element that makes it super cool.

5. DuckTales

This one aired on TV for 3 years. THREE FREAKING YEARS. So it was definitely awesome.
The story was about the richest duck in the world, Scrooge McDuck and his three grandnephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The story is mostly about them fighting against bad guys who were always trying to steal his treasures.
